Elder Cortes from Chile and Elder Chapman
Elder Chapman and ?...we hope his name is written in his journal...Logan doesn't give details!

This was a pretty good week. It was pretty normal until Thursday when we went to Talara for the multizona. Talara was pretty cool and we came into the city it was like when you come down the switchback to go to Whitney (reservoir) and you could see out over the whole ocean and all the boats in the harbor and stuff so it was way cool. We learned a lot of good stuff and especially about how to help people learn about eternal families. Then on Saturday we had a service project and we were going to help someone take down their house and move all the stuff to a different house but they ended up not having all of the supplies to do it so we helped them carry their containers of water from the water source to their house and holy crap I am still sore haha. I don't know how they do that every single day. Then on Sunday I had to give a talk and I felt pretty good about trying to get the ward involved in the work. Then we had a baptism of a kid who's family is less active and we have been activating them and I got to baptize him yesterday. Then last night everything was all good until I started throwing up haha. I don't know what I ate but it really screwed me over haha. Love you guys.

The Relief Society District!

Well this week was pretty good. Nothing too special happened during the week but yesterday we had a baptism of a kid that the hermanas have been teaching and the kid asked me if I would baptize him so it was cool to be able to do that. This Thursday we are going to Talara for a multizona with that zone so that should be pretty good to get to go there for the day. Yesterday after church one of the counselors came up and asked me if I could give a talk next Sunday on missionary work. I told him that I already did like two months ago and he said, well then you are already prepared. So I get to give a talk on Sunday. This Saturday we also have a baptism of a little kid who's family are all members and we have been reactivating them. Today we went and played soccer and other games at the stake center and it was awesome but this morning I forgot to put on sunscreen so I am suffering right now haha. Hopefully this sunburn passes quick because a sunburn and collared shirts with ties does not feel very good haha.

Well this was an okay week I guess because I was kinda sick. Last Monday we didn't leave to teach because I was throwing up and on my death bed haha but I started feeling better and better every day so that's good. I don't remember if I told you guys or not but cambios were last week and my companion now is Elder Cortes from Chile. They also got rid of the other elders in our ward and put in hermanas. In our district it is us two elders and four hermanas haha so I call us the relief society district haha. We have 2 people right now that we are preparing for baptism and are probably going to challenge a couple more this week. One of the less active families that we are teaching asked me if I would baptize their son who is 9 so we will be doing that shortly too. The hermanas have 6 people with a baptismal date so our ward is going to be doing pretty good with the baptisms here shortly haha. Also it is so hot right now that it rains every night haha. Most of the people we are teaching are getting electricity so they are pretty pumped about that haha. And our ward is going to do a matrimonio masivo so that the people that are living together can get married and get baptized. Well I hope you guys have a good week. Love you guys.
